Courtesy Call by Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Host Town

On January 16, 2023, Ambassador Orikasa received a courtesy call by Mr. Hideto Murakami, Mayor of Zao Town, Miyagi prefecture and Mr. Shizuo Ono, Superintendent of Education in Hitachi-Omiya City, Ibaraki prefecture. They exchanged views for the deeper relationship between Japan and Palau, especially for the 30th anniversary of the Japan and Palau's diplomatic relations in 2024.
