Appointment of Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador

On 22 January, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan (MAFF) appointed 36 new "Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassadors" who are professionals engaged in Japanese cuisine capable of providing appropriate consultation on the dissemination of Japanese food and dietary culture.
From Palau, Ms. MORISAKI Yoko, Chef and Manager of Japanese Restaurant "Tori Tori" was appointed to be Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador because MAFF highly valued her management of the restaurant and dissemination of Japanese food and dietary culture to people in Palau. The appointment is the first case in Pacific Island Countries.
