◆Japanese Embassy officials visit Kayangel
On March 27, Counsellor Takao Anzawa and First Secretary Toshiya Yamada visited Kayangel State. They visited the dock constructed by Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) in 2003, ice-making facility also funded by Japan’s ODA in 1996, dispensary, water system, power plant and John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
At the John F. Kennedy Elementary School, Counsellor Anzawa gave brief remarks about his impression of Kayangel and the friendship between Japan and Palau. He handed over omiange of origami paper, notebooks and file folders from Japan to the students.
